As a non-profit organization registered under Section 60 of the Indian Trust Act, 1882, and also registered under 12A & 80G, the organization has been continuously working towards environmental awareness, community participation, and sustainable development across different regions of India.
Founded by a group of dedicated professionals, Growth Foundation of India operates with a strong commitment to empowering communities and encouraging responsible environmental practices. The organization understands that environmental protection and human well-being are deeply connected, and without preserving nature, long-term social development is not possible.
Building Environmental Awareness at the Grassroots Level
Environmental challenges such as pollution, deforestation, climate change, and lack of awareness continue to affect communities across urban and rural India. Growth Foundation of India actively works to spread awareness about environmental conservation and inspire individuals to take responsibility for protecting natural resources.
Through awareness campaigns, plantation drives, educational activities, and community programs, the organization encourages people to adopt eco-friendly habits and contribute towards a cleaner and greener society. Plantation Drives and Community Participation
One of the major environmental initiatives undertaken by Growth Foundation of India includes large-scale plantation and tree distribution campaigns. On the occasion of World Environment Day, celebrated every year on June 5, the organization conducted awareness programs and distributed plants among communities to encourage environmental protection and sustainable living.
As part of this initiative, more than 6,500 plants were distributed across various locations in Delhi. The campaign focused on educating people about the importance of trees, clean air, biodiversity, and ecological balance. The organization also motivated individuals and families to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts within their own communities.
Through these activities, nearly 500 people took a pledge to support environmental protection and contribute towards building a greener future.
Spreading Awareness Through Creative Initiatives
Growth Foundation of India believes that awareness becomes more impactful when people can connect with it emotionally and socially. To engage communities effectively, the organization organized street plays, public awareness drives, and educational activities focused on environmental responsibility and conservation.
These programs were designed to educate children, youth, and local communities about issues such as pollution control, waste management, water conservation, and the importance of protecting nature. By involving communities directly, the organization aims to create long-term behavioral change and encourage sustainable practices in everyday life.
